You can subscribe to your favorite blogs and news websites so you don't have to keep going to each website to see if any new blog postings or news items have been published.
There are several free online blog reader services that allow you to subscribe to multiple blog/news websites. I recommend www.bloglines.com. All you have to do to subscribe to a blog/news feed is use the "Add" option and enter the website URL address. For example; to subscribe to this blog use the following URL:
http://www.iconject.com/rss.xml
The rss.xml file is the XML file that tells blog readers what is in the blog
To get the above link string with our having to type it out; right click on the red XML button at the top of this page and select Copy Shortcut. Then login to your blog reader service and paste (right click and Paste) the link in the add a blog link box location.
Every time you log into your online RSS service the number of new/unread postings/news articles for each subscription will be displayed.
